The Director is an Alumni of Mt. Kenya University and Kenyatta University where she attained a PhD in Business Administration and attained a Masters in Business Administration and BED (Business and Economics) from Kenyatta University. She has attended several local and international short courses in Management, Business and Entrepreneurship Development.

She has over 30 years experience in the Public Service in Education as a Quality Assurance Officer, and Lecturer in post-school institutions; and served in the Ministry of Industrialization, Trade and Enterprise Development as an lndustrial Development Officer and lately in the State Department for Trade and Enterprise Development as the Director, Kenya Institute of Business Training. 

She has also served as an Alternate to the Principal Secretary, Trade in Women Enterprise Fund as a Director for three years.
